What is not allowed, what we check, and what we do not

What we actually check. Every photo and video is checked automatically before it appears, and reported profiles, posts and messages are reviewed by a person. We make no identity claim beyond that. We do not run background checks. We do not screen criminal history. We cannot and do not confirm that anyone is single. No badge in this app means “safe”.

Not allowed

What happens when you report

  1. A person reads it. Not only a classifier.
  2. The reviewer never sees who reported.
  3. You always see a state — received, reviewed, acted on. You will not be met with silence.
  4. A single report never triggers an automatic ban. Coordinated false reporting is a real tactic, so reports are weighed. The one exception is non-consensual intimate imagery, where the content is hidden immediately pending review — the account is not banned automatically, because that exception could otherwise be abused too.

Blocking

Blocking is silent and total. They vanish from your app, you vanish from theirs, any match between you ends, and they are never told. You can still report someone for 30 days after unmatching or blocking them.

Staying safer on a first meeting

What the app costs you

Blocking, reporting, unmatching, hiding your profile, pausing and deleting your account are the same for everyone, on every plan. How fast we handle a report does not depend on what you have paid.

Nor on whether you have confirmed your email address. Confirming it raises your daily like allowance — that is all it does. Nothing that keeps you safe is ever held back to make you finish a step.
